We have an excellent record for successfully delivering engineering based apprenticeships to companies. Based near Montgomery, we provide the funding to deliver; engineering/ manufacturing/ industrial/ Management/ Team Leading/ BIT/ warehousing apprenticeships to companies. The apprenticeship levels that we deliver range from levels 2 up to level 5, using our team of industry experienced assessors.

 

We are seeking an Engineering Assessor qualified or willing to be trained to join our team. As an Assessor/trainee assessor, you will play a crucial role in delivering work-based learning apprenticeships to apprentices working in and around the Powys area. Full or part time will be considered.

 

**Duties:**

- Conduct assessments and evaluations to gather relevant data

- Analyse information and data collected during assessments

- Prepare detailed reports based on assessment findings

- Collaborate with team members to discuss assessment results

- Provide recommendations based on assessment outcomes

- Attend careers events

- Maintain own caseload with effective planning of visits to maintain contract obligations

- Promoting apprenticeships to new employers

 

**Skills:**

- Broad engineering background encompassing maintenance, machining both manual and CNC, BIT and welding

- Desirable additional skills, electrical/electronic, warehousing

- Strong analytical skills to interpret data accurately

- Excellent communication skills to convey assessment results effectively to learners and employers

- Attention to detail to ensure thorough evaluation processes

- Ability to educate others on assessment procedures and outcomes

 

Job Types:                             Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours:                  22.5 – 35 per week

Schedule:                              Monday to Friday

Work Location:                    Hybrid remote in Powys
