Successful School ‘Maths Inspire Morning’
On Tuesday 18th February, Myrick Training Services attended the “Maths Inspire Morning” at Leighton Primary school, near Welshpool.
Children, teachers and parents had a go with our STEM activity kits to get the pupils involved in engineering! We had fun we hope to do many more in the future!
Acting Headteacher, Lindsay Clarke commented, “What a great atmosphere around school and a fabulous buzz in the hall, with everyone getting stuck in. We've had some great feedback from the adults who attended, and the children have absolutely loved it and got loads out of it too.”
Class teacher Sian Edwards also said, “Thank you so much for such an amazing morning. It was a brilliant event and having you there made it really extra special. Diolch!”
Please get in touch if you think we could help with STEM activities in any other Powys schools!
Thank you to Mid Wales Manufacturing Group for supporting us with a Tetrahedron challenge at the event.
